Bubbles!

When talking to my sister today and hearing how her two children were trying to go snorkeling in her bath tub, I thought of the time we went up and spent a few days with her. Espen decided that he need to have a bubble bath....then decided that turning on the jets would be extra fun!

Sunday Afternoon

I just thought I'd snap a few photos of William so Kenneth could see how much he has grown etc. Of course when the camera comes out, someone (name withheld) has a hard time letting the opportunity pass by without being included! I'll let you guess who that is!

Espen decided to join in the fun!

I am wondering if he is saying to himself" I'm going to eat this hand....right now!"

I just love Mia's hair cut! She looks so much older. When did my baby girl grow up so fast!

CRIKEY!

The 5th Graders in our Elementary school put on a wax museum tonight. Famous people from decades past up until the present day where represented. Spencer picked Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter! Spencer has been a fan from a very, very young age, renting numerous videos from the library over the years. So it was a cinch for the costume, what else do you need for the King of Khaki! We ordered the "Giant Croc" from Amazon, what we'll do with it next.......only time will tell, but who doesn't need an inflatable 62" Crocodile!
This was Spencer's favorite pose for the night. Many people loved it too, there was no question on who he was. The children also put together a Power Point Presentation about their person, so after we made the rounds it was fun to watch them go by on the screens.
CRIKEY!
Here are a sampling of my favorites, and some of Spencer's friends:
Donny Osmond (I don't know if you can tell, but his shirt is pink with light blue cuffs and collar!)
Richmond as LaDainian Tomlinson from the Sand Diego Chargers!
Zach as Neil Armstrong, I just loved the costume. There were so many I didn't get a photo of, some of my other favorites were Julia Child, Brigham Young, and Cleopatra. Poor David Beckham didn't quite make it as he was too ill to make a showing! My cousin Jon came with us, thank heavens, it was great to have someone to visit with after we made the rounds!
William enjoyed himself, but it all proved to be a little too much, so he just shut his eyes and went to sleep!

Hair Cuts

Whenever Aunt Megan comes to town, it usually includes a hair cut of some sort for someone!
Espen is looking as handsome as ever in his new do! He was a trooper sitting on the big kettle in order to be tall enough!

Mia decided (Mom decided actually) that she needed a hair cut too. So Aunt Megan went to work!

Trim, Cut, Trim, Cut........and it all came off!

She looks a lot older with the new hair-do. I love how there will be less brushing out each morning, now let's hope she'll let me style her hair!

Birthday continued.....

Right when we were ready to open presents my camera battery died!!! So we had to charge it up and there was not enough pink in the world to hold Mia back from opening her presents.

She was a really lucky girl, Tristan and Bella gave her some Snow White Dress ups, she received a new game called "Elefun" and some new Moon Sand. The children are playing in the sand in the above photos.

So she had a great 4th birthday that actually spanned over 3 days!
(photos of her build-a-bear dog coming later)

Brick Oven Birthday

One of the things Mia wanted for her birthday was to go to the Brick Oven for dinner. So off we went for a late lunch! (you'll notice Espen is a little fuzzy. He has a hard time sitting still!)

Mia at the pasta bar, ready to order!

That's a Frosty Mug!

William, not quite sure where we are and why he is still in his car seat!

Birthday Girl!

Who's the new Make Artist?

Mia came down the stairs this morning looking like a glitter bottle exploded on her cheeks!

Apparently, Espen decided to try his hand at the make-up artist game. Somehow I think another career would be a better choice! I'm sure, however, he had fun!

Fort Knox!

Mia decided to build her own little Fort right in the kitchen.

No sofa or love seat was safe!

She added her blanket and pillow and tucked herself away down below!

EARS!

This photo is for Kenneth's benefit! Do you miss this? I think that is Espen's hand on the right, but Mia on the left! Mia has loved playing with Kenneth's ears for almost a year now! Since he left, she has found a few replacement ears!

It All Comes at a Price!

Being the Big Sister comes at a small little price... You hair may be tugged and pulled from time to time.

William got a great grip on Sabrina's hair the other day and so we snapped some photos! He had quite the grip on it too, we had to pry his hands out of her hair, and then when we finally had it free he would grab it again!

Little William is a great fan of "DeeDee" as we call Sabrina, she has become my left and right arm since Kenneth left!
