Waiting is just too much

Trying to wait for Grandma and Grandpa got the better of Mia today. This photo was taken at 6:00pm, waiting was just too much to handle! I know I should wake her up, but the peace and quiet is nice!

12 Years Today

Today is our 12 year wedding anniversary. Little did we know that day all the turns and detours that were ahead of us, but I don't think we would change a thing!

And I can't wait to see what the next 12 years will bring, and the next 12, and the next 12........

Drive Home

So on the drive home from Heber, I just had to stop and snap a few photos of the back of Mnt. Timp. It is such a beautiful drive through Heber, Deer Creek and ending up in Provo Canyon. It feels like home, it always has and probably always will. To say this is difficult to leave is the understatement of the year, however, but we know great things await those who are brave enough to seek them!
Sabrina loves to jump out and join a quick photo shot. I love the wheel move irrigation in the background. I have fond memories of donning on gum boots and trekking out to the fields with my dad to change the pipe. 4 rotations of the sprinkler head and "stop". If you can see it in this photo, Midway Ut is way in the background as well!

When did my little girl grow up!

And So Begins the Farewell Tour!

Seeing how our time in Utah is rapidly disappearing from us we made a few "out of the way" stops on the way home from the Zoo. First, since Mia and Will promptly fell asleep, we jumped on the I-80 and headed to Coalville Ut, to yet ANOTHER grave yard. My children are such good sports for my family history enthusiasm, and had a good time hunting down some grave sites. We went to Coalville because my great-great grandmother Betsy Reece Bridge is buried there.
She passed away very young, and I have always been slightly intrigued by her life. Her grave stone is beautiful and a little weather worn.

After Coalville we headed for Heber and our favorite "shake" place: The Dairy Keen Home of the Train. I advise all who read this and ever pass through lovely Heber to stop and grab a shake!

Hogle Zoo

With the first warm and sunny Saturday of the year, and with our time in Utah ticking down ever so rapidly, we ventured out to the zoo. We soon realized on arriving that we were not the only people who had the same idea on how to spend this day. We circled the parking lot like vultures, following any poor soul who showed the signs of heading to their car. This little tactic rewarded us, however, with an amazing parking spot, right in front! So it was off the the Hogle Zoo with just about everyone else in Utah!

Will is looking so big now! Sitting up in the stroller!

First stop, ALWAYS, when Spencer is in command of the troops!

You'll notice Tristan consulting his "Map". This was done frequently through out the day, and it was always "Next the SNAKES!"

Sabrina with Aunt Megan and Miss Bella Reece in the back ground!

Tristan giving directions! His map during the day had gotten a rip in it, which his mother had to promptly replace! He was so cute!

Resting and waiting for the Bird Show to start!

"Here are the SNAKES, Aunt Bonnie!"

Right here!

Espen and the Giraffes.

It was a long day, and Bella was feeling it as we waiting for our little Train ride. (and I mean little Train)

All Abroad!

I will miss that cheesy smile!

My cute little muffin!

May 2nd-Spencer turns 11!

Spencer's birthday was on a Sunday this year. So Saturday we went to the Brick Oven, which seems to be the tradition of this family for birthdays! (I forgot my camera so there are no photos)

We had Cake and the Moffats over Sunday afternoon! All and all it was a great day for him. He got a Florida Shirt and Hoodie, got to see Iron Man2 with Uncle Blake, a football from Tristan and Bella, $20 from Grandma of which he spent on a Calle shirt. I think it was a great day for him. He had a really cute message from Tristan and Bella when we got home from church that day too!
Love ya Spencer can't believe you are already 11 yrs old!

Burger Supreme

Burger Supreme! After a long Friday, Megan and I decided that we just couldn't tackle dinner as well and prep for the garage sale, so off we went to Uncle Al's favorite hamburger place.

Notice the fry sauce already for fries and dipping! Also Bella's "Mom's Baby" who accompanied us everywhere we went. For some reason I am thinking this little doll is a close cousin to Brigham Bond. (NEVER Dressed!)

Bella LOVES her ranch!

Is there anything better than fries and fry sauce, chicken nuggets, and knowing that you're sleeping over at Aunt Bonnie's house. (Don't forget we drove to the restaurant in Aunt Bonnie's Car-See video at the end of entry).

Sabrina gives us a wary look as the noise level at our tables is attracting attention!

I think Megan will kill me for this photo, but it is for posterity!

Tristan came up to me before we left and asked super sweetly "Aunt Bonnie, Can I come in Your Car?" It was so sweet, I just pointed at my cheek for a kiss which I promptly received, and then there was a whoop and holler of excitement. So we tried to see if we could get Tristan to ask again, this time on film!

What a cutie, I can't even think of leaving these two little ones behind in a couple of weeks. So I'll go all Scarlet O'Hara "I wont' think about that right now. If I do I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow."
